Playgrounds at Clark Elementary School

Clark Elementary School has two awesome playgrounds.
One playground is for kids 5 and older, and the other one is for kids younger than 5.

The Spider Web

One thing that I like about the bigger playground is the spider web.

The spider web is really fun for climbing on. There is a black spot in the middle that you can sit on and then I like to climb to the top of the web to sit.

One caution is the spinner. It is brown and black with a green pole up the middle.
f you don't like being dizzy, I would not recommend the spinner for you.

On the smaller playground my favorite is the monkey bars (there are no monkey bars on the bigger playground).
The smaller monkey bars are yellow with half tires under each bar that you can use.

This playground is not worth a drive, better for when you are in the neighborhood.
Maybe we will do a playground in your neighborhood next!

Thanks,
Amelia/Amy

Bye! (sort of)

Hi everyone!  We (Amy and Amelia) are both going into 7th grade and are starting to get a lot more summer work and schoolwork in general. We know we haven't posted in over a year, so we're sorry for that.  Getting out is starting to be harder for us because we're both doing lots of camp, school, and sports (Amelia is a volleyball champ!). Because of that, we think it's best that we say goodbye to Cville Kids Attractions. Whenever there is something incredible to talk about  or we just want to say hi, we'll post a little here.  We're working on one last summer post now, so keep looking for that!  💗💗😃😃Love, A&A

Quality Pie

Quality Pie "High" Quality Pie! It is true, quality pie is of high quality! This place is great to go to on any day because they have both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu changes often and the deserts are top-notch! Amelia's favorite dessert is the key lime pie. Amy's favorite dessert is a chocolate cookie! They are all freshly made daily and delicious every time! Currently, indoor seating is unavailable but you can sit outside. We would highly recommend going and supporting a local business right now. See you soon! Amy

Turk Mountain

Turk Mountain   If kids love nature and the great out doors this is the place to be. There is a 1.4 mile hike but you can turn around whenever you want. It’s an out and back hike. Interesting things to see include ants, we saw them carrying larvae across the trail. Lots of chestnut trees, which are very rare because of a bug. Really pretty flowers, in all different colors and sizes. There are lots of birds that sound nice and cool bugs that crawl on trees.  Trail at Turk Mountain I hope you enjoy a hike here! -Amelia
